FY 2025 LOCAL MAINTENANCE & IMPROVEMENTS GRANT (LMIG)

MATTS WAY
STREET AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of street and drainage improvements on Matts Way in Coffee County, Georgia until (10:00AM) (local time), (Monday, December 30, 2024) at which time bids will be opened and read. This project shall be funded with the county¿s Fiscal Year 2025 Local Maintenance & Improvements Grant funds.

The meeting will be held at Coffee County Board of Commissioners¿ Office and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Wesley Vickers, County Administrator for the Coffee County Board of Commissioners, 101 South Peterson Avenue, Douglas, Georgia 31533. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Coffee County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.

The Scope of Work Includes:
Street and Drainage Improvements to Matts Way. (Total of 0.20 Miles)

All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Coffee County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Coffee County Board of Commissioners. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount.

The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Coffee County Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded
