THE CITY OF MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ON-CALL MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

The City desires to obtain the services of up to three (3) outside firms or individuals for a term of one (1) year with the option to renew for four (4) additional years to help the City with “on-call,” “as-needed” mechanical engineering work for various capital projects within the City.

The selected organization will provide the full range of services including, but not limited to, work within the public right-of-way, parks, wharves, beaches, buildings and grounds, pump stations, tunnels, City systems, all Army systems supported through the Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA), energy system design, Title 24 analysis, or to act as an extension of City staff. Tasks may consist of full design, from conception to construction, or be of a very limited nature. Each task will be based on an agreed upon scope, schedule and fee. An individual work order will be created under this Master Agreement for the completion of each task order.
