Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number 1240LP26Q0025 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Farrier Services. Pagosa District maintains a herd of horses up to 8 animals. Horses are used by the district recreation and range programs. Horses require regular shoeing, approximately every 6 weeks, during the field season and two hoof trimmings during the fall/winter. The farrier must come to various locations primarily on the Pagosa District and other areas on the San Juan National Forest and surrounding lands to shoe and trim horses.
