Project Description: The Granger-Hunter Improvement District (District) provides water and wastewater services to a population of approximately 130,000 people in a 24.5 square mile area in West Valley City, Utah. The District uses ESRI ArcGIS Software in combination with Cityworks Asset Management Software to assist the planning, construction and maintenance of its water and wastewater systems within the District's service area. Visit https://www.ghid.gov/ for more information.
The District is seeking proposals from qualified firms to assist in a comprehensive modernization of its Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The selected firm will be responsible for migrating the Districts existing on-premise ArcGIS Enterprise server to a cloud-based solution. This migration will also include upgrading the GIS data from the legacy ArcMap based Geometric Networks (GN) model to the modern ArcGIS Pro Utility Networks (UN) model. The District is open to innovative suggestions and best practices for the most efficient and effective methodology to accomplish this transition. The chosen firm will be expected to demonstrate expertise in cloud migration, GIS data management, and the ArcGIS platform.
This Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) is part of a competitive procurement process to select Professional Services which helps to serve the best interests of the District and its customers (Utah Code 63G-6a-15). It also provides each respondent with a fair opportunity for its services to be considered. As such, do not include a detailed scope of work or fee proposal at this time. All information submitted in the RFSQ is subject to the Utah Governmental Records and Management Act (GRAMA), unless accompanied by a Claim of Business Confidentiality Form and a redacted proposal.
