This solicitation notice is an anouncement of a requirement for Packing, Containerization and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments at Holloman Air Force Base.

This solicitation is based on FAC Number 2024-16, dated 08/29/2024 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

Description of Work:

The contractor is responsible for completing pre-move surveys, weighing Household Goods (HHG) shipments, meeting packing time lines, preparation of shipments, packing shipments, containerization of HHG, tagging and inventorying HHG, appliance servicing and unservicing if necessary in conjunction with preparation for shipment, providing containers and vehicles for the packing and crating of HHG, correctly marking exteriors of shipping containers, storage of HHG, providing facilities, providing labor, providing cargo insurance, and providing delivery, unloading and unpacking, and claims. The contractor shall furnish all materials except Government-owned containers (Federal Specification PPP-B-580), all equipment, plant and labor; and perform all work in accomplishing containerization of personal property for overseas or domestic movement or storage, including stenciling, cooperage, drayage of personal property in connection with other services, decontainerization of inbound shipments of personal property; and the handling of shipments into and out of the Contractor's facility.

Estimated Period of Performance (PoP):

01 January 2025 - 31 December 2027 (a 12-month base period, 12- month option and two (2) 6-month option periods).
