| Description: |
For the making of the following described local improvements, said proposal for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in place of the following approximate quantities:
1. Rehabilitations of Wells No. 1 and No. 2
For this project we will accept only online electronic bids through QuestCDN. Instructions for online bidding are included in the Project Specifications. For electronic bids, electronic bid bonds will also be accepted through Surety 2000 using contract #9450459. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Burnsville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The City of Burnsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. All bid values provided for Schedule C in the 00 41 00 - Statement of Estimate Quantities Specification shall be valid for a minimum of 180 days. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, two City staff or agents will publicly view bids in the City Hall. The Council will consider such bids in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
