Galloping Goose Regional Trail Enhancement and Underground Utility Replacement Projects

Project Description: o “Trail Enhancement Project” means all work to be done and works to be constructed and installed with respect to a contract with the Capital Regional District for improvements to the Galloping Goose Regional Trail (GGRT), including Trail widening, retaining walls, and Trail lighting for approximately 260m of the GGRT from the Cecelia Road ROW to just south of the Gorge Road East overpass, and other improvements further detailed in the Project Design drawings and specifications.
o “Utility Replacement Project” means all work to be done and works to be constructed and installed with respect to a contract with the Corporation of the City of Victoria for the abandonment of existing Sewer Infrastructure and replacement with a new sewer, approximately 300m in length within the Cecelia Ravine from the Cecelia Road ROW to just south of the Gorge Road East overpass. Works include two pipe bridge crossings of Cecelia Creek, and other improvements further detailed in the Project Design drawings and specifications.
o Note that this Tender is for two separate Contracts – one with the CRD for the Trail Enhancement Project and one with the City for the Utility Replacement Project. It is anticipated that the successful tenderer will be awarded both contracts.
