The purpose of this request is to solicit proposals from qualified firms to provide the collection, transportation, and disposal of household hazardous waste (HHW) for the participating cities in a one-day event held in Waco as shown in the attached map. The Annual collection event is to be held on a Saturday in March, April, or May, not including Easter weekend, Mother’s Day weekend, or Memorial Day weekend. The Contractor must be able to provide services for the collection event on a Saturday within this range of dates. The proposal should indicate all Saturdays within that range that can be accommodated. The hours of operation for accepting HHW are typically 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM but may be modified according to the Contractor’s recommendation. The date of the event for the current fiscal year was March 28th, 2025. The five (5) participating cities were Bellmead, Hewitt, Lacy Lakeview, Waco, and Woodway. The participating cities and communities may fluctuate each year. The City of Waco will serve as the designated purchasing agent for the HHW collection event.
