DEP intends to enter into a Sole Source agreement with Sherwood-Logan & Associates for BWT-REX-1 for the REXA Hybrid Electric/Hydraulic Actuator Assembly. The Bureau of Wastewater Treatment (BWT), Wards Island Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) have actuators at its six main sewage pumps (MSP) cone check valve for controlling the discharge flow of screened sewage to settling tanks for primary treatment. The existing actuators have been in operation for many years, have passed their useful life, and need to be replaced with the new REXA Actuators to keep the smooth operation of the main sewage pump systems.  Any firm which believes it can also provide the required service IN THE FUTURE is invited to so, indicated by letter which must be received no later than April 20, 2026, 4:00PM at: Department of Environmental Protection, Agency Chief Contracting Officer, 59-17 Junction Blvd., 17 th Floor, Flushing, New York 11373, ATTN: Glorivee Roman, glroman@dep.nyc.gov
