Overview

Summary

Gila County is seeking qualified contractors to provide inspection, repair, and liner installation services for leachate evaporation ponds located at the Russell Gulch Landfill near Globe, Arizona, and the Buckhead Mesa Landfill near Payson, Arizona. The project is intended to address identified and suspected leaks within the existing high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pond liners and support continued environmental compliance and landfill operations.

The work includes inspection and repair of existing liners at the Russell Gulch Landfill, installation of a new HDPE liner within the Russell Gulch leachate evaporation pond, and repair of a delineated leak area within the Buckhead Mesa Landfill leachate evaporation pond. The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and installation services necessary to complete the work in accordance with the solicitation specifications and applicable standards.

This project provides an opportunity for experienced geomembrane and environmental remediation contractors to support critical landfill infrastructure improvements for Gila County. Contractors with experience in landfill liner systems, HDPE welding and repair, and environmental containment projects are encouraged to participate.
