The purpose of this project is to stabilize approximately 140 liner feet of eroding streambank along the James River in Lynchburg, VA and address major causes of bank erosion at the project location, in order to protect the integrity of the existing public sewer interceptor located adjacent. The proposed design includes imbricated rock wall streambank stabilization, storm drain outfall rehabilitation, and associated site improvements.
