Bid opening for the 2026 Contracted Mowing will be at the Street Department, 105 S 10th Street, Garden City, Kansas, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. However, bids will need to be emailed or mailed to the City of Garden City, Kansas, P.O. Box 998, Garden City, Kansas 67846, with 2026 Contracted Mowing put on the outside of the envelope or in the subject line (email) and received before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026. The work consists of the following major items:
1. 650’ of Trimming
2. 8.53 Acres of Mowing
3. Mowing and trimming at various locations within the City of Garden City. Mowing to start after April 29, 2026 and shall be completed no later than October 28, 2026.
