FARE EVASION MITIGATION PROJECT

Item SPC00006

DESCRIPTION: AS PART OF THE FARE EVASION MITIGATION PROJECT, CREATE TURNSTILE CAPS THAT EXTEND THE TURNSTILE ARM TO DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF ROOM AROUND THE TURNSTILE ARM. THIS SOLUTION COUPLED WITH A WALL EXTENSION AND VAULTING WALL SHOULD HELP LOWER THE AMOUNT OF FARE EVASION BY STOPPING FARE EVADERS FROM WIGGLING IN BETWEEN THE GAPS IN THE TURNSTILE. THE CAPS ARE MADE OF PLASTIC EA 6/1/2026 66.0000

2
DESCRIPTION: THE VAULTING WALL IS APART OF THE THREE PART SOLUTION AIMED AT COMBATING FARE EVASION. THE VAULTING WALL WILL INCREASE THE HEIGHT OF THE SIDES OF THE TURNSTILES WITH THE HOPES OF STOPPING TURNSTILE VAULTERS FROM HOPPING OVER THE TURNSTILE ARMS. THIS ADDED HEIGHT GIVES AN INDIVIDUAL LESS LEVERAGE AS THEY ATTEMPT TO VAULT OVER THE TURNSTILE. THEY WILL HAVE NOTHING TO GRAB ON TO. EA 6/1/2026 10.0000
3
DESCRIPTION: THE WALL EXTENSION IS THE FINAL COMPONENT OF THE TURNSTILE MODIFICATION THAT WILL COMPLETE THE FARE EVASION MITIGATION SOLUTION. THIS WALL WORKS HAND IN HAND WITH THE TURNSTILE CAP TO CLOSE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE END OF THE TURNSTILE ARM AND THE WALL OF THE TURNSTILE. THIS EXTENSION DOES NOT ALLOW INDIVIDUALS TO PASS THROUGH IF THEY ATTEMPT TO RETRACT THE TURNSTILE ARM AND SQUEEZE THROUGH THE GAP. 1 INCH WALL EXTENSION EA 6/1/2026 7.0000
4
DESCRIPTION: THIS IS THE 2 INCH WALL EXTENSION AND SERVES THE SAME PURPOSE AS THE 1 INCH EA 6/1/2026 4.0000
