Summary Rice Test Shakers Gilson Model: SGA-5R Quantity Needed: Four (4) The Gilson Rice Shaker shall perform consistent, automatic agitation of vacuum pycnometers for the asphalt Rice test. The Rice Shaker shall have a built-in 0–99 min. digital timer with ±0.25 second accuracy. The Rice Shaker shall have a mounted front control panel featuring a vibration speed controller and a three-position switch for manual or timed operation for easy use. Variable speed settings shall closely control agitation to avoid stripping of asphalt. The painted steel case shall have non-slip rubber feet, so no mounting is required. It shall be equipped with Gilson's exclusive EZ Clamp System to quickly secure flasks to the machine. The clamping system shall be easy to use, push the buttons, slide into place and, a quick twist that secures the container.
