Pursuant to FAR 13.106-(1)(b)(1), the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to award a sole source contract to Tri-Tech Forensics, Inc,, 3811 International BLVD NE STE 100, Leland, North Carolina 28451-4299 for the acquisition of USSS Pocket and Tactical Individual First Aid Kit (I-FAK).
The United States Secret Service Emergency Services supplies graduating students with a Tactical and Pocket Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK). The prepackaging and issue must be maintained in a specific manner that allows for uniformity throughout the United States Secret Service. Rescue Essentials IFAK is a DHS Approved Medical Kit, meeting the approval of the SAIC- RTC and are currently issued to all graduating students.
Market research was conducted identifying Tri-Tech Forensics, Inc. as the sole provider for the requested Pocket and Tactical I-FAKs.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 339113-- – Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing.
This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. No known potential alternate sources exist which could satisfy USSS’s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quote/proposal. Any interested party that believes it can meet the USSS’s requirement described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill this requirement being requested by 1:00 PM ET on 6 June 2025. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Submission of information does not guarantee this requirement to become a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be submitted in writing to melissa.chabot@usss.dhs.gov no later than the time and date noted above. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted.
