INVITATION TO BID
Separate sealed bids for Industrial Park Water Tank Access Drive, HWEI Project No. 2021102, will be received by City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities at the Utility’s office at 2806 Bryan Road, Van Buren, Arkansas until 11:00 a.m. (local time), on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at which time and location bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed “City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities, 2806 Bryan Road, Van Buren, Arkansas 72956” and shall be labeled “Bid for Industrial Park Water Tank Access Drive, HWEI Project No. 2021102”. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened.
This project includes approximately 3,230 linear feet of paved gravel access road and drainage improvements.

Visits to the Site may be scheduled with the Owner by contacting Chris Coombs or James Dunn at 479-474-5067. Site visits must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from QuestCDN.
Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes.
This publication was paid for by the City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities and the cost of the publication is $452.16, per Arkansas Code 14-55-208 and related statutes.
The City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date. The City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, as either a general contractor or subcontractor.
