This amendment answers the following vendor questions:
Is lead lining required for the concrete floor in the space? Specifications call for installation of floor lead. See Physicists report Please advise.
Answer: The installation of lead lining is not necessary as the existing concrete is thick enough. If flooring concrete/topcoat removal is required during construction, the contractor shall return the impacted area back to its original specifications.
Who is responsible to remove the office furniture that is currently in the construction space?

Answer: The VA shall be responsible for the removal of office furniture and other misc. items stored in the construction area.
For the above ceiling structural steel install in the 1st floor lobby: Who will be responsible to rework the existing ductwork, piping, sprinkler, electrical conduit, etc. so that the steel can be installed?

Answers: Rework of the existing ductwork, piping, sprinkler, electrical conduit, etc. so that the steel can be installed shall be the responsibility of the contractor

Will construction fence need to be installed around the contractor laydown staging area?

Answer: Yes

Will construction fence need to be installed around the exterior area of the scaffolding entrance

Answer: Yes

This amendment changes the RFI deadline date listed in block 10 of the SF1442 from 03/05/2026 at 12:00EST to 03/13/2026 at 12:00EST.

This amendment changes the close date of this solicitation listed in blocks 10 and 13a of the SF1442 from 03/17/2026 at 12:00EST to 03/124/2026 at 12:00EST.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
