Summary

The purpose of this RFP is to establish a contract through competitive negotiation for the opportunity to place the Sponsor’s Logo at various exclusive physical and electronic locations, notably the wrapping on the ODOT Freeway Service Patrol (FSP) Vehicles utilized in six major metropolitan areas throughout the State of Ohio. ODOT is currently in contract with Autobase, Inc., the owner and operator of the FSP program until June 30, 2027. The specific routes and operational times are further described in Exhibit A.

The purpose of the Freeway Service Patrol is to provide congestion relief which may include assisting motorists and/or other service personnel in incident situations including, but not limited to: mechanically disabled vehicles, crashes, lost motorists, sick or injured motorists, pedestrians or animals on the roadway, removal of non-hazardous debris, vehicle or brush fires, fuel leaks, and assistance to law enforcement officers.
