RFP# 02.28.25DPM Vehicles HVAC Preventative Maintenance

The Detroit Transportation Corporation (DTC) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms that can perform maintenance and repairs on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems on the fleet of eleven (11) rail vehicles for the Detroit People Mover (DPM).

Bidders will need the following requirements:

(A) Be a state of Michigan licensed contractor, (B) EPA certified, (C) Minimum five (5) years’ experience servicing Mobile R22 HVAC Systems & R134 Series, (D) Minimum five (5) years in business, (E) References: Provide at least 3, (F) Availability: Ability to perform maintenance within DPM’s operational schedule to avoid service disruptions

There will be a mandatory vendor walk-through on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Detroit Transportation Corporation’s DPM Maintenance & Control facility (MCF) – 1250 Park Place, Detroit, MI 48226.

Proposals will only be accepted via Bidnet/MITN ONLY on or before 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Wednesday, April 30th, 2025. Proposals received after that date and time will be returned to the sender unopened. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS.
