NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals for the 2026 Sanitary Sewer Cured-In-Place Pipe Lining Project will be received by the Village of Carpentersville Public Works Department at 1075 Tamarac Drive, Carpentersville, IL 60110, until 10:00 A.M., local time, May 8, 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The proposed improvements will consist of pre-construction cleaning and televising, and installation of cured-in-place pipe lining of approximately 10,167 LF of 8” and 2,705 LF of 10” sanitary sewers. All other ancillary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications and all other applicable standards.

. Flash drives will be made available for pickup at the Public Works Facility, 1075 Tamarac Drive in Carpentersville, Monday-Friday between 8:30AM to 4:00PM, within 24 hours from the time of the request.
Each Bidder’s proposal shall be accompanied by a security deposit in the form of a Bid Bond as outlined within the bid package. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. In addition to complying with the rates of prevailing wages, the Bidder shall also provide proof of enrollment, registered and certified with the United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training, Office of Apprenticeship, in an Apprenticeship Program should Bidder’s proposal amount exceed $100,000. If proof of enrollment is not received with an applicable Bidder’s Proposal, it shall not be accepted unless no other responsible Bidder’s Proposal is received with proof of enrollment and within the budget for the Contract.

Bids may be held by the Village of Carpentersville for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
