Project Description: • Proposal Summary:
Notice is hereby given that the City of Saratoga Springs (OWNER) will accept bids from qualified and licensed contractors for the remodeling of existing bathroom/showers located in the Saratoga Springs Fire Station. The project will remodel two (2) gender specific bathrooms, and convert the space by constructing four (4) individual bathroom/showers (see attached concept design).
• Project Location: 995 W 1200 N, Saratoga Springs, Utah 84045
• Project Completion: October 15, 2025
• The scope includes:
o Design and Permitting
o Demolition and Disposal
• Removal of existing fixtures, finishes, flooring, and cabinetry
• Proper disposal of all materials per applicable regulations
o Plumbing and Electrical
• Relocation or replacement of plumbing fixtures as needed
• Upgrade, addition and relocation of electrical outlets, switches, and lighting to meet code
o Framing, drywall and doors to meet code
o Installation
• New toilets, sinks, showers and fixtures
• Durable, water-resistant flooring
• Wall and ceiling finishes (e.g., moisture-resistant paint, tile)
• Ventilation system update or replacement
• Installation of vanities, mirrors, partitions, and accessories
o Code Compliance
• Ensure the finished remodel meets all applicable building, ADA, and safety codes
o Coordination
• Work closely with the City’s designated project manager and Fire Department personnel to minimize disruptions
Bidders are responsible for registering with U3P, maintaining an active profile, and ensuring submission compliance with U3P system requirements (file types, upload deadlines, etc.). The City is not responsible for technical issues arising from the bidder’s failure to follow U3P instructions.
