INVITATION FOR FORMAL BID - Notice is hereby given that the City of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, will receive electronic bids for the construction of the Town Square Avenue Road Improvements, until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025. Bids shall be emailed to bids@dardenneprairie.org and wdg@weisdesigngroup.com . The subject line is to include "TOWN SQUARE AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS (Bid Submittal)". Electronic Bid submittals received by the City after 11:00 a.m. on May 14th, 2025, will not be considered. The contract work in general shall include approx. 36,845 SY 2'' asphalt pavement milling, approx.. 3,984 TN of 2" thick, fiber-reinforced surface course asphalt, construction of new 130 SY concrete sidewalk, 16,500 LF of Rubberized Edge Sealing and other misc. pavement repairs. Digital copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained by emailing wdg@weisdesigngroup.com . A non-refundable fee of Thirty Dollars ($30.00) payable to Weis Design Group is required for a digital copy. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, offers, or proposals submitted, or to advertise for new bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 9%. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing wage rate in this locality as established by the Dept. of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher. The City hereby notices all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. All BIDDERS must meet the MoDOT requirements as a CONTRACTOR prior to bid opening in accordance with the Missouri Standard Specification Book for Highway Construction and Duckett Creek Sanitary District Standard Construction Specification (2024). No trainee hours are required under this contract. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal.
