The Scope of Work for this project involves the conversion of the existing VWM 123, located in the high-head laboratory at the Devon Research Centre. The objective is to create a facility for conducting experimental studies using hydrogen.
a) Create a single-level mezzanine within VWM 123
b) The mezzanine features a material handling shaft and jib boom, enabling the transportation of materials, tools, and equipment to the mezzanine level.
c) The mezzanine design allocates space for a surge tank (HxD) to be positioned on the main level near the southeast corner of VWM 123.
d) Electrical and piping provisions are required to be completed by the contractor as per the drawings and specifications
e) Mezzanine access stairs on the interior of the VWM and mezzanine level exterior egress with stairs and footings are required.
