Solicitation Summary
The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the Department), Behavioral Health Administration, (BHA), is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) to issue up to one award, not exceeding $199,999 (total award including option years is $599,997). This funding opportunity aims to support the development and dissemination of training programs that address the core competencies required for professionals working within Maryland’s Public Behavioral Health System. The training will specifically focus on Peer Recovery Specialists and individuals with lived behavioral health experiences who are pursuing certification as Peer Recovery Specialists.
