Aerial Surveys of Moose in New York State
Description:

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking
bids to provide and pilot a helicopter for Department wildlife staff to monitor
moose in New York State. Moose will be monitored for abundance,
distribution, and health in northern New York State between January 1 and
March 31 of 2025. If monitoring objectives are not complete after the first year, efforts will continue again between January 1 and March 31 of 2026.

Pursuant to the State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, this procurement
includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between a
Governmental Entity and a bidder during the procurement process. Further
information about these requirements, including a copy of the lobbying law,
can be found at: http://www.ogs.ny.gov/acpl/.

Bidders shall adhere to the New York State Department of
Environmental Conservation Guidelines Regarding Permissible
Contacts During a Procurement and the Prohibition of Inappropriate Lobbying Influence.
