Cortez Blvd (SR 50) Pump Station Replacement Project

This project consists of replacing the Pump (Lift) Station on Cortez Blvd (SR50), which is within the City limits.

This lift station is a major asset to the City’s wastewater flow, and infrastructure. The term “replacing” is a very

broad term to include all avenues of building and infrastructure function. Please review the included multipage,

engineering document to ensure the entire scope is understood. The awarded contractor would work closely

with the engineer of record, as well as City employees, to ensure all needs of the infrastructure are met, with

regards to the lift station replacement.

Be advised that flow will continue through the lift station during construction. The City cannot take this piece of

infrastructure offline at any time. The existing generator, and standby power transfer switch will

remain. The City of Brooksville utilizes sole source for FLYGT products through Xylem Water

Solutions USA, Inc. Please take this into consideration during bid pricing:
