Electromechanical Universal Test System

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of an electromechanical universal test system from MTS Systems Corp as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and the contractor being the single provider of the goods. System must have high force capacity and resolution, precise displacement and strain control, compatibility with extensometers and other accessories, advanced test sequencing and real-time data acquisition and it must be compliant with international testing standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO), which is necessary for publishing and validating results. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
