VGLZ 182038 REPAIR SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM BASE WIDE

This project involves the mobilization and demobilization of all labor, equipment, and materials to replace approximately 11,164 linear feet of sanitary sewer line segments ranging from 6-inch to 12-inch diameter pipe, repair 2 manholes, replace 27 existing manholes, and add 8 manholes. There is an area in the former residential housing area where sanitary sewers will be cut, capped, and abandoned in place. In addition, the Contractor will be responsible for providing temporary restroom facilities for the Visitor?s Center and Main Gate while tapping into the existing sewer line for a bypass segment around the former residential housing area. The work will be a mix of open cut, pipe bursting and horizontal directional drilling methods.
