Project Description: The City of Dallas is requesting proposals for a three-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) with two (2), one (1)-year renewal options. The City of Dallas Police Department (DPD) and Dallas Animal Services (DAS) are seeking a vendor to provide service qualifications related to the removal, housing, care, feeding, security, forensics, and testimony relative to victims of Suspected Animal Cruelty (SAC). The City is seeking proposals for the establishment of an IDIQ that meets the standard and scope of work based on the needed partnership to address animal cruelty from any angle or relevant to public policy, state and local law, veterinary forensics, community engagement, and prevention/intervention in human behavior relative to SAC. Another area of interest is research and engagement that heightens awareness of animal cruelty and builds knowledge that informs and engages key community stakeholders and allied professionals in preventing and responding to this animal welfare issue.
