Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands (FFSL)
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: for wildland fire hazard reduction by mechanically thinning live and dead Conifer/Aspen stands. This will include use of a tracked feller buncher, wheeled or tracked skidder, tracked log loader, and dozer (D6 or equivalent) equipped with a standard commercial brush rake. Thinning of standing live and dead trees, saplings, and downed material will be accomplished through the use of a feller buncher, tracked or rubber tired skidder, dozer with commercial grade brush rack and a tracked log loader for piling. This task order includes the Contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals. Project area totals 99 acres.
Mandatory Site Visit: None: Vendor may visit site on their time.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Project Performance Time: Project must be completed by July 31, 2027. No operations will be allowed during the time frame of August 15, 2026 through November 15, 2026.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through completion of the project.
