Separate sealed Bids for the construction of Compton 100,000-Gallon Standpipe Rehabilitation will be received, by Compton Water Association, Newton County, Arkansas, until 1:30 p.m. local time on December 11, 2024, and then at the office of the Compton Community Building, HC 33 CR 19, Compton, Arkansas, 72624, publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of the following:
Sandblast and paint interior and exterior of existing 100,000-gallon standpipe.
Furnish and install a passive mixing system on pipe inlet.
SCADA improvements on tank.
Overflow pipe extension with splash pad installation
Sampling and sanitation station improvements
New security fence installation
Vault repair
Information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Bid Bond Form, Performance and Payment Bond Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Engineer. Printed copies may be obtained at the office of Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 South Old Missouri Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72765, Phone 479-751-8733, upon a non-refundable payment of One Hundred dollars ($100.00) for each set. Digital copies may be obtained through QuestCDN or through www.engineeringservices.com upon a non-refundable payment of forty dollars ($40.00).
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
