REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
Construction Manager for Construction
Multi-Use Police and Fire Training Facility
The City of Maumelle, Arkansas is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from
qualified firms interested in providing Construction Manager for Construction services for the
development and construction of a multi-use Police and Fire Training Facility.
The proposed project will include:
Live-fire burn tower meeting National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards
Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training (CLEST) Compliant Rifle and
pistol qualification range
300 x 300 concrete driving pad for emergency vehicle operations training
Classroom facility capable of accommodating approximately 50 to 60 occupants
Associated site work, utilities, drainage, parking, security, and infrastructure
improvements
The selected firm will provide pre-construction and construction management services, including
scheduling, cost estimating, value engineering, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, quality
control, project supervision, safety compliance, and project closeout services.
Interested firms should demonstrate experience with public safety facilities, municipal
construction projects, site development, and construction management services.
Firms must be properly licensed and bonded in the State of Arkansas.

References for similar projects
Safety record and OSHA history
Financial capability
Any additional support information relevant to the project
