APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This is a requirement in which the contractor shall provide all management, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, vehicles, and materials necessary to operate the Furnishings Management Section (FMS) and maintain government property in support of Dover Air Force Base (AFB) Unaccompanied Housing (UH).
The Furnishing Management Section (FMS) is part of the Military Housing Office (MHO) and serves as the base's central point for furnishings support. In accordance with AFI 32-6000, it's functional responsibilities include financial management, warehouse management, and overseeing the accountability of appliances and furnishings in buildings at Dover AFB and Dover AFB Housing.
To ensure dormitory residents are provided with sustainable and satisfactory furnishings, it is critical that this requirement is met. Its fulfillment will allow dormitory management to properly focus on the procurement and upkeep of furniture, thereby mitigating concerns about substandard living conditions.
