Can you please provide copies of the most recent annual inspection reports for these systems?
Answer: Yes, they can be supplied. Canteen/NFS semi-annual fire suppression testing was performed 3/19/2025.
Which contract years will the future buildings be completed construction and devices added to this scope of work?
Can you please share the fire sprinkler drawings for these buildings so we can get an idea of the added devices?
Will inspections of the new above ground and underground water tanks be required under this contract? If so, please provide the drawings for these tanks.
Answer: New Energy Plant- September 2025. New OI&T unknown, still in design stage.
New building as-builts have not been provided, still under construction and have not been delivered as yet under contract.
Above Ground water tank is not designated as fire protection. Both current underground tanks will become fire suppression dedicated. Â Yes, that is the 1946 as built.
When are each of the 5-year certification and testing required? Or when were they last performed? If unknown, will it be acceptable to include pricing in the base year and then move the funding to other years if it becomes known when these inspections will be required?
Answer:
5 Year Certification and Testing: last performed in 2020, except for dry standpipe (2024) and gauges (2025)
Internal Standpipe flow test (Bldg. 1)-base year
Diesel Fire Pump Flow test-base year
Fire Hydrant flow GPM test-base year
Fire Department Connection (FDC) Hydrostatic test-base year
Fire Sprinkler Internal Piping Condition and Obstruction Inspection-base year
Replace all fire system gauges, to include negative gauge located on Fire Pump intake impeller-OY-5
Dry Standpipe in Garage- OY-4
The scope of work references quarterly, semi-annual and annual inspections, however it also references the Joint Commission EC 02.03.05 EP6 Weekly or Monthly Fire Pump Tests depending on power supply. Can you please confirm if we should include pricing for EP6?
Answer: No, we conduct weekly fire pump runs of the diesel fire pump.
Can you provide the fire pump manufacturer and model number?
Also, can you confirm the rated flow (gpm)? The solicitation mentions 2,500 gpm in some areas and 1,250 gpm in another area. Please confirm.

Answer: No fire alarms/testing after 9PM
Can you please confirm if Volumes 1 and 2 of the proposal (based on proposal breakdown instructions) can be two separate documents?
Answer: They can be two separate documents, but be sure to include both in your final quote/response.
