The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, NM intends to negotiate a single source award with GSL Solutions INC (UEI: NSY9S1Z8WMD9) for rental and support services for GSL Solutions’ proprietary pharmaceutical equipment used to securely store medications, reduce dispensing errors and fill medications correctly. Among other requirements, the equipment interfaces with a signature capture device, allows for the ability to identify and locate any drug within the system and provides accountability for access, offers a will call management system and RFID/bar code scanners. The projected period of performance is 3/15/2025-3/14/2026. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 532490- Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing with a Small Business Administration size standard of $40.0 million.
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this Notice of Intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be submitted to Rodney.Brown@ihs.gov no later than 10:00AM (MST) on 3/4/2025.
A determination by the Government on whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
