Description


Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Pine Mountain for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for construction of the SR 354 Water Tank Replacement - Contract 1 in the Town of Pine Mountain, Georgia.

Bids will be received to the attention of Mayor Keith Pendergrass at Town of Pine Mountain, 250 North McDougald Avenue, Pine Mountain, GA 31822, until 11:00 AM, Friday, November 22, 2024. Any bid received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by OWNER. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time and location. All bids will be evaluated by OWNER and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 30 days of the bid opening.

The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements:

Contract 1:        Construction of a 200,000 gallon ground water storage tank to include site grading, piping connections, access road improvements and other related appurtenances.

Electronic access to the Contract Documents, Specifications, and Construction Drawings must be obtained from Precision Planning, Inc. by email request to Natalie Pifer at 861np@ppi.us.

OWNER requires a bid bond* or a certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid to be enclosed with the bid at the time of bid opening. Cashier's check will be made payable to Town of Pine Mountain.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish OWNER with Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds* in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total bid.

CONTRACTORS and SUBCONTRACTORS bidding on this Project will be required to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws.
