Description

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a requirement for an integrated enterprise-wide asset lifecycle management system to mitigate risks associated with maintaining and operating CBP's current 13 disparate systems; provie the ability to identify track and allocate assets in an effecitve and timely manner; and acquisition of unnecessary assets. Specifically, the CBP Asset Management System (CAMS) will help CBP by providing; improved asset accountability through acquisition lifecycle, controls, and performance, and improved information sharing through data integrity, data reporting, and analytic functionality into a complete solution.
