Armored Car Services RFP

The City of Pontiac is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified armored car service providers for the secure transport and deposit of municipal funds. All services must comply with applicable federal, state, and industry safety standards, including Michigan licensing and banking regulations. The anticipated service commencement date is May 1, 2026.

Located in Oakland County, the City of Pontiac serves as a central hub for governmental, commercial, and community services in the region. The City manages a variety of financial operations requiring frequent, secure pick-up and delivery of deposits to a designated banking institution with minimal interruption and high security standards. Ensuring the protection of these assets and the personnel handling them is a top priority for the City.

The armored car services contract will support the City’s Treasurer Division within the Finance Department. The selected supplier will be responsible for providing professional, insured, and certified transportation of deposits according to an established schedule, while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and industry security standards.
