Sheriff's Office Carpet Removal and Installation

Lancaster County Sheriff's Department is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and install carpet at the Sheriff's Office Complex located at 1520 Pageland Highway, Lancaster SC 29720.

The contractor shall remove and dispose of all existing glued-down carpet throughout designated areas of the facility, including office spaces, main areas, and hallways. Floors shall be properly prepared prior to installation of new carpet tile, which will be selected by the buyer.

Additional tasks include:

• Installing transition strips at doorways, where applicable
• Installing cove base or cutting carpet to meet existing baseboards, consistent with current building finishes
• Replacing existing stair runners with commercial-grade, professionally bound runners that match or coordinate with the new carpet tile
• Moving large furniture items as needed (unless otherwise agreed during walkthrough); customers will move small furniture and personal items
• Maintaining a clean worksite and restoring all areas to broom-clean condition upon completion

All work must meet industry standards and comply with applicable safety and building codes.
