The Orange County Public Health Laboratory (OCPHL) performs diagnostic and surveillance testing for the detection of bacterial, fungal, and viral organisms in support of County public health programs and to safeguard the community’s health. The laboratory plays a critical role in disease surveillance, outbreak response, and prevention efforts by providing accurate and reliable laboratory results.
Timely and precise testing, along with prompt reporting of results to clinicians and public health officials, is the primary goal of the OCPHL. These efforts are essential for informing clinical decision-making, guiding public health interventions, and mitigating the spread of infectious diseases.
To maintain and enhance its testing capabilities, OCPHL requires access to laboratory reagents, kits, and related products. In support of these needs, OCPHL is seeking a vendor to supply QIAGEN products that are to be used with existing laboratory instrumentation and workflows.
