Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs will solicit for vendors capable to provide Semi-Annual Elevator Inspection and Five-Year Testing Services for the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials (including required weights), equipment, parts, tools, and personnel to perform to perform semi-annual inspections and five-year testing for all elevators, dumbwaiters, and vertical transport equipment as defined in the Statement of Work, SOW. Service must be done in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and in pursuant to ANSI/ASME/NASEA. A request for quote, RFQ, will be issued on April 16, 2025. Period of Performance is for one base year plus four, 4, option years.
To be eligible for award, the prospective contractor must be registered in SAM database at http://www.sam.gov and comply with the Basis of Evaluation for Award. If prospective contractor intends to satisfy this requirement through use of a proposed subcontractor(s), they must identify what work will be performed by each proposed subcontractor and what work will be performed by the Quoter (Primary). Primary contractor must also show how they provide a plan to show how you will provide 51% of the work being performed.
The North American Industry Classification Code, NAICS, is 541350 (Building Inspection Services), Product Service Code is H335 (Inspection-Service and Trade Equipment), and the Size Standard is $11.5 Million.
