The Cherokee Nation is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the construction of an expansion at the Cherokee Nation Tahlequah Youth Shelter, 21834 South Jules Valdez Road, Tahlequah, Oklahoma (Cherokee County).

There is a mandatory site visit at 21834 South Jules Valdez Road, Tahlequah, OK 74464 on April 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. CT. If a company is interested in the project, but unable to attend the mandatory site visit as stated, there will be an opportunity to meet the requirement on April 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. CT. by contacting Marty Kimble @ (918) 570-9072 to schedule.

Bids must be received on or before Wednesday, May 14, 2025 by 2:00 p.m. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked “SEALED BID, DO NOT OPEN, CHEROKEE NATION TAHLEQUAH YOUTH SHELTER EXPANSION (CHEROKEE COUNTY)”. A Public Bid Opening will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 by 2:00 p.m. in the Financial Resources Breakroom, 17665 S. Muskogee Avenue, Tahlequah, Oklahoma 74464.

Indian Preference applies to all Cherokee Nation requests for bids or proposals. To receive preference, bidder must be TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office; proof of certification must accompany submittals. Successful bidder will be obligated to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO.
