The City of Deerfield Beach, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive sealed bids from individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities authorized to do business in the State of Florida, to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the rehabilitation of the existing communications tower at the Water Treatment Plant, including the installation of a new antenna , as specified in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). Questions and Answers: The City provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through eProcurement Marketplace by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The City will respond to all questions via eProcurement.Licensing Requirements: The Vendor shall hold all licenses, registrations, and certifications required by law to perform the work specified in this ITB. The Vendor must have an active registration with the Florida Division of Corporations prior to the bid submittal deadline. Refer to Attachment G, Minimum Qualifications and Requirements, for additional information. The City of Deerfield Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax. The City of Deerfield Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City. Bids will be accepted through a secure mailbox at eProcurement (https://deerfield-beach.ionwave.net/HomePage.aspx) until the Deadline for Submission as indicated in this ITB. Bids will be opened immediately following the Bid Submittal Deadline and will be publicly opened virtually via Microsoft Teams. Bidders will receive an advance notification through the eProcurement Marketplace. Interested parties may attend the virtual bid opening. Bids submitted by any other means will not be accepted. Late Bids will not be accepted. |
