INVITATION TO BIDDERS
The City of Lake Jackson, Brazoria County, Texas is requesting Proposals from qualified contractors
for furnishing all necessary materials, machinery, tools, equipment, labor and supervision for the Lift
Station No. 1 and Force Main Replacement in Lake Jackson, Texas, within the City Limits of said
City, Project No. 23-05-0977.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. (CST)
at the Lake Jackson City Hall Council Chambers, 25 Oak Drive, Lake Jackson, TX 77566.
Sealed Proposals, addressed to Modesto Mundo, City Manager, City of Lake Jackson, Texas for the
above-described work will be received at the City Manager's Office, 25 Oak Drive, Lake Jackson,
Texas, until 2:00 PM (CST), Wednesday, January 21, 2025, at which time all Proposals will be
publicly opened, read aloud, and tabulated.
Interested contractors may obtain information on the scope of the proposed work, the exact location
and all general and technical information required to submit a complete and acceptable Proposal for
the accomplishment of the project from the City Engineer's Office, 25 Oak Drive, Lake Jackson,
Texas 77566. Bid documents may also be obtained from www.CivcastUSA.com, search Brazoria
County, City of Lake Jackson. Bonafide prime bidders may obtain copies of the Contract
Documents, Plans and Specifications upon deposit of $300.00 per set. Prime bidders may obtain a
refund of full deposit for all sets returned in good condition no more than 15 days after the bids have
been opened. No partial sets will be issued.
No bid may be withdrawn or terminated for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening
date without the written consent of the Engineer.
All bids shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or a Certified or Cashier's Check upon a State or
National Bank of the State of Texas in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid amount.
The City of Lake Jackson reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid deemed
advantageous.
This is a "Public Works" project and provisions of the "Prevailing Wage Law on Public Work in
Texas" must be complied with. Prevailing Wages for Brazoria County, Texas is a part of this
contract.
