THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.



This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. The proposed contract action is conducted under the authority of the Multiple-Award Schedule Program (see FAR 8.401). The statutory authority which permits restricting consideration of schedule contractors to fewer than that required in FAR 8.405-1 or FAR 8.405-2 is 41 U.S.C. 251, as implemented by FAR8.405-6. Orders placed under Federal Supply Schedules are exempt form the requirements in FAR Part 6.



Public safety related information technology (IT) support for the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) and its customers at all locations in Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS). NAVFAC facilitates comprehensive data management of employer-required public safety program records and employer-mandated Federal record keeping compliance requirements for itself and its customers using Enterprise Safety Application management System (ESAMS). ESAMS is comprised of a suite of web-enabled applications that allows its end users to manage their requirements. The current requirement will support the continued use of this system for one year and two option year periods.
