Ford Fleet Super Duty Vehicles

Date: November 9, 2022

FORD MOTOR COMPANY ORDER BANKS FOR 2023 MODEL YEAR SUPER DUTY

VEHICLES WILL OPEN FROM NOVEMBER 14, 2022 to DECEMBER 16, 2022.

CUT-OFF DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.

USING AGENCIES ARE ADVISED TO PLACE ORDERS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Ford Motor Company, through our current Contractors, has announced the upcoming window to order Ford

Super Duty vehicles, specifically the Ford F250, F350, F450, and F550. Due to ongoing market conditions

currently affecting vehicle production and delivery, the order banks for these vehicles will be shortened as

indicated above.

Additionally, Using Agencies are advised that Ford Super Duty vehicles are subject to manufacturer’s

allocations which will limit availability. Vehicle allocation information for 2023 Ford Super Duty Vehicle for

the State of New Jersey has not been released. Please note that Using Agencies may not receive their

entire order as a 2023 Model Year. Using Agencies may be given the option to have a portion of their

Purchase Orders rolled over to 2024 Model Year (NOT PRICE PROTECTED), and may receive priority

placement in the ordering queue when the 2024 Ford Super Duty Order Banks open.

Finally, Using Agencies are advised that, in recognition of the hardships imposed by these shortened order

windows on government purchasers, Ford Motor Company and our current Contractors will accept a Letter

of Intent to Purchase in lieu of a purchase order to hold your order “in the queue”. A Purchase Order must

follow as soon as possible.

It is STRONGLY ADVISED that Using Agencies keep an open and clear line of communication with the

Contractor for information on orders and the available options if a full order cannot be completed.

Ordering Instructions

State Using Agencies Only: For Using Agencies that intend to purchase 2023 Ford Super Duty Vehicles,

please note that a Letter of Intent to Purchase will be accepted by the Contractor in lieu of a Purchase

Order, if an approved Purchase Order cannot be generated within the Order Bank window.

All Letters of Intent to Purchase must be issued by Treasury Administration on behalf of State Using

Agencies. State Using Agencies shall NOT issue a Letter of Intent to Purchase without express

written permission from Treasury Administration.

All requests for Letters of Intent to Purchase must identify specific funding account(s) and include

a statement that funding is available for the intended vehicle purchase(s). Requests submitted

without funding accounts identified and the statement of available funds will be rejected.

State Using Agencies should consult with and coordinate all vehicle purchases through Treasury

Administration at Vehicle Requests [TREAS] <Vehicle.Requests@treas.nj.gov>

Cooperative Purchasing Partners: Cooperative Purchasing Partners may also utilize the Letter of Intent

to Purchase, subject to your agencies specific purchasing regulations and guidelines. Please consult with

your Purchasing Agent or appropriate staff.

2022 Model Year Super Duty Vehicles

Please be advised that the production of Ford 2022 Super Duty Vehicles has been cut off by the

manufacturer.

Purchase Orders submitted by Using Agencies for 2022 Model Year Ford Super Duty Vehicles that are not

already in production may be cancelled by the manufacturer. Additionally, Using Agencies that submitted

Purchase Orders for 2022 Model Year Super Duty Vehicles may be given the option to roll over the 2022

Model Year vehicle ordered as a 2023 Model Year vehicle with an increase to the original Quoted price.

Using Agencies with pending 2022 Purchase Orders, should confirm order status with the Contractor, and

the options available to them, should their 2022 Model Year Ford Super Duty Vehicle order be cancelled.
