Title: Water and Wastewater Works Materials
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 8/7/2026
Due Date: 9/17/2026
The City of Prescott is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide water and wastewater materials, supplies, and related products on an as-needed basis. The intent of this Notice Inviting Bids is to establish a contract with one or more qualified vendors capable of providing materials that meet the City's specifications and operational requirements.
Materials may be purchased for routine maintenance, repairs, construction, system improvements, emergency response, and other activities associated with the City's water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
The selected vendor(s) will be expected to provide quality materials, competitive pricing, reliable availability, and timely delivery or pickup to support the City's ongoing utility operations. The City reserves the right to award this Notice Inviting Bids to one or more vendors based on the proposals received and the City's operational needs.
The City of Prescott's Water and Wastewater divisions are responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair and improvement of the City's infrastructure. These systems include extensive networks of water mains, sewer mains, valves, manholes, service connections, hydrants, lift stations, and associated appurtenances.
The City routinely requires a variety of materials to maintain these systems and respond to planned and unplanned maintenance needs. Maintaining an adequate and dependable supply of quality materials is essential to minimizing service interruptions, completing repairs in a timely manner, maintaining regulatory compliance, and preserving the City's utility infrastructure.
Because material requirements and quantities vary throughout the year, the City intends to establish a reliable procurement source for water and wastewater materials that can accommodate both routine and unanticipated needs. The resulting contract(s) will provide the City with access to materials at established pricing and under defined terms and conditions for the duration of the contract.
The City is seeking qualified vendors with demonstrated experience supplying water and wastewater utility materials and the ability to provide consistent product availability, competitive pricing, responsive customer service, and timely fulfillment of orders.
