Licensed Real Estate Brokers for City of Tucson Residential Home Sales

The City of Tucson Housing and Community Development Department seeks proposals from Licensed Real Estate Brokers with community development experience. Community development experience may be demonstrated by the following: aiming to improve communities through collaborative efforts, having an extensive knowledge of, and expertise on, issues of importance to the community, and having established working relationships with nonprofit organizations and local stakeholders with a specific understanding of down payment assistance program requirements. To ensure adequate coverage and flexibility, the City intends to award contracts to multiple Licensed Real Estate Brokers to market, manage and resale city owned Public Housing single family residential homes as a result of this solicitation.

Licensed Real Estate Brokers will facilitate the resale of the properties acquired through various city, federal and st ate funding sources. They will coordinate with any approved agency and City of Tucson Staff to ensure a smooth and efficient sale of the property. Contractor and Contractor Personnel will comply with applicable provisions of 24 CFR Part 100 of the Fair Housing Act.

The City of Tucson is seeking to encourage participation by respondents who are Minority and Women Owned businesses and/or Section 3 business enterprises.
