shall be licensed in accordance with applicable State laws.
All bidders shall be licensed under the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and
Professions Code of the State of California. The Contractor shall possess a valid license at the time the bid is

license prior to contract execution and retain the license through the duration of the project.
Each sealed bid shall be marked "BID" and shall indicate the project name, number, and bid opening
date, and shall be mailed or delivered to the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 501 W Weber Avenue, Bldg 1,

prevailing wage rates in accordance with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations.
A contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as defined in the Stockton Municipal
Code; provided, however, that the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to re-advertise
for bids or to provide for the work to be done by the City of Stockton.
The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Labor and Material Bond and a Faithful
Performance Bond, each in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Said bonds shall be
furnished by a company authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California. On official forms
