Solicitation Summary
The city currently performs snow removal/de-icing using Operations Maintenance staff and equipment. Typically, contractors are not utilized during winter storm events. However, due to limited staff and equipment resources, outside contractor support is needed for large winter events. This contract will be utilized for snow removal/de-icing only case prediction of 12-inch or more, in addition to current city resources. The city does not currently have a contract for snow removal or hauling services.
